During the months of September to June the little village of Türkbükü retains
its almost sleepy fishing village charm. Set around a pretty sandy bay, many
restaurants are located beachside with a few more to be found in the village.
Being one of the specialities here, fishermen can still be seen in their wooden
boats selling their catch of the day.
Türkbükü really comes to life during
the months of July and August which is when all of the Turks who want to see and
be seen come to party in this otherwise peaceful place. Just don’t be shocked at
the prices of drinks and food in during this time; this is where the rich and
famous frequent!!
