LOCATION INFORMATION Situated in the quiet Kucukbuk area of Gundogan. About 3mins walk from the shops, bars and restaurants of Kucukbuk. 5mins drive to Gundogan, 15mins drive to Yalikavak. 40-45 mins drive from Bodrum airport and 25 mins drive to Bodrum town. DETAILS
This well equipped and sumptuous villa comfortably caters for 6 people in 3 bedrooms, or 8 people using a sofa bed in the lounge.
Ground Floor From the entrance door (at the side of the villa), there is a cloakroom with WC and wash basin on your left, storage cupboards, to your right. Walk to your left towards the inside living accommodation. A small, but compact galley style kitchen can be found which serves the lounge through a serving hatch. The kitchen contains an oven with hob, large fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and full set of crockery, cutlery and essential utensils. From here walk into the lounge and dining area which comfortably seats 6 in its sofas and chairs. A dining table (seating 6) can be extended further if necessary. The flat screen TV is fitted to the wall above the fireplace and receives all major British and sports channels via satellite. There is a DVD player for those wishing to watch films. The lounge also sports a sofa-bed corner unit which can sleep a further 2 guests if necessary. The lounge has large, corner sliding doors opening up onto the patio and private gardens, giving fabulous views of the bay of Kucukbuk. The lounge area can be cooled by means of a ceiling fan or a second outside door which allows a breeze to flow through. Another 6 seater dining table on the patio makes outdoor eating an easy option. The ground floor features a twin bedroom, washing machine and more than average cupboard/storage space. First Floor A round stairwell leads up to the first floor where the master bedroom offers magnificent sea views (through the same style patio doors as the lounge ) which open up onto a balcony. The en-suite bathroom of this bedroom has a large shower, hand basin and WC. The hallway leads to the spacious family bathroom offering a jacuzzi bath, shower, large mirrored basin with drawers, and WC. A third bedroom features a double bed with access to the first floor balcony. Roof Terrace Saving the best till last - follow the stairs up to the roof terrace where panoramic views of the whole of Kucukbuk bay, hillside, beach and open sea greet you. A covered pergola has been constructed to shade half of the terrace - this is where most of the evenings will be spent. With its sink and bar area, the terrace is absolutely fabulous and perfect for al fresco dining, or just sit with a cool Efes watching the twinkling lights of the bay come alive at nights. Bar stools align the work surface making it easy for you to chat with your friends whilst dinner is being prepared. A table and chairs, and loungers are at this level for those wanting to soak up the sun in private! Outside The villa directly overlooks the shared pool to which it has easy access down steps from the private garden area of the villa. The pool is large (18 metres long) and shallow in all areas (c. 1.6 metres). There is an adjoining paddling area for young children. The villa is on a site of 12 villas and has its own parking space near the entrance. A site manager lives within the grounds and is available to help with any queries. A three minute walk takes you to the beach where a choice of good restaurants give you use of sun loungers by day and sets up tables for dining on the beach and jetties in the evening. The beach is sandy and the sea is clear. Perfect for swimming. A car is not required for those who want to chill out by the pool or beach, but for those who wish to explore the area a little more, a car is necessary. The larger village of Gundogan is 5 minutes drive in one direction, and trendy Turkbuku, 10 minutes in another. Sophisticated Yalikavak, with its new multi-million dollar marina, pedestrianised shopping, bar and restaurant area is a 15 minute drive away. On Thursdays, there is a large Pazar (market) held in Yalikavak, where tourists and locals mingle to buy their provisions and textiles – not to be missed. Bodrum town centre, is 30 minutes drive away from Kucukbuk, with its swish shops, restaurants, bars, marina, castle and of course nightlife! *All prices include KDV/VAT unless otherwise stated. |
