Jayne, Steve & Family, Worksop UK - September 2014

I have come straight back and into work so apologies for the delay in responding. We have all had a fantastic time and the villa was everything we hoped for and more and I will attempt to cover everything off under the various headings.

Superb. Obviously Sara met us and showed us around on our first evening which was really appreciated. We felt comfortable enough to be able to call her for support/ guidance which we only had to do on one occasion to be fair but it was good to have the reassurance that she would be there if required.
The villa itself was immaculate and very clean with everything to hand. The real positives for me were the availability of towels for all purposes as todays luggage allowance does not allow us to bring too much on that front. A couple more tea towels would be appreciated though as two is not sufficient for a week.

Its great to have a 'welcome pack' with all the basics particularly after a long journey so tea, coffee and something for breakfast is perfect where you arrive late like we did. Extra toilet rolls was also a plus as too often there is only just enough for the first day?!!

The internet proved to be a bit hit and miss but to be honest I appreciated that with 4 people in the younger generation bracket as it meant we enjoyed each others company a little better!!

Conclusion is that there is NOTHING for you to improve on, which coming from someone with very high expectations, is a true compliment- well done and thank you.

Organisation/ Pre Booking Service
Again what can I say- from the first contact, the ability to pick up the phone and make sure our requirements would be met through to you organising our car hire and being collected at the airport everything was perfect. You were accommodating, courteous and provided the support we needed. Everything went like clockwork and fell into place as it should have done. A map of the area and some more feedback on restaurants and things to do would have been good particularly when we could not get internet connection very often to help whilst we were there.

Conclusion- Thank you for all your support. You described the villa perfectly, listened to our requirements, made suggestions and then delivered on your promises which meant that we had the most fantastic holiday which was important to us all

In summary everything was PERFECT. David, Sara and Yourself have got it all spot on and it was a pleasure to share the experience.
Thank you. We are already recommending you to everyone and will continue to do so. It merely remains for me to say that we look forward to coming back to see you again soon.

Andy & Family, Marple, Cheshire UK - July/August 2013
1. The Villa..... was absolutely brilliant from day 1 until day 14, it could not be faulted and was the best villa type accommodation we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a fair few over the years. We had a little trouble with toilets that kept running but it was after the water had gone off and we're told it is pretty common that the system gets dirt/grit in it and jams it up. Our only concern was the water that was being wasted!!
2. Sara (Guest Manager) We contacted Sara on a couple of occasions with regards to the toilets running and for some advice over places to go/see and we booked our own private boat trip through her and we had a brilliant day in the sea and the sun!!! She was always very approachable and helpful, even when we were delayed 2 hours going out so didn't arrive until 2ish in the morning!
3. Yourselves !!!!! The help and ease of booking was very good and very helpful. We were supplied with all the information we needed. The minibus transfer and the car hire that we booked through you all worked out very well also. Everything was very professionally done throughout. Many, many thanks for all your help and assistance, I'm sure we will be using your services again as we have fell in love with Turkey over the last two years.

Lazy Dayz villa is described as stunning and it did not disappoint. This is a beautiful property to stay in and the views take your breath away.

After meeting the villa rep Sara, and arriving at the villa, we were delighted by our first impression of Lazy Dayz. The interior is spacious, immaculately decorated and has everything you require from a luxury villa. The furnishings are modern and could not have been designed any better. The kitchen has everything you could need and the welcome pack was a lovely touch after a long day’s traveling. The bedrooms were airy, clean and complemented by spacious bathrooms.

But it is the exterior of the villa which makes it a 5 star experience. The lovely pool area and terraces are complemented by superb and extremely comfortable furniture and the pergola area also gives lovely relief from the afternoon sun. The views of the Aegean and Yalikavak are amazing.

We had visited Kalkan previously and thought it one of the nicest resorts we’ve been to but Yalikavak is its equal on all counts. It is one of the friendliest places we’ve been to and the locals could not do enough for us. The choice and quality of restaurants is excellent, our favourites being Sofi’s and Three Brothers.

We can highly recommend the villa, the resort of Yalikavak and the service by Annie and everybody at Peninsula Villas.

Sue & Nigel, Stratford upon Avon, UK - June 2013

Absolutely 5 Star from start to finish. A very safe, reliable, systematic method of reservation/payment/deposit collection etc. Annie in Admin UK has lived in Turkey so has first hand experience. Is very professional but friendly and approachable and can answer all questions.

If you have car hire,on arrival in resort you are met by one of the Team (Sara, Jenny or Peter) who will take you to the villa, show you around and leave a welcome pack. Great for us as we arrived in the dark and the villa would have been difficult to find. They are always just a phone call away if help is needed or any maintenance needs attending to.

The villa is beautifully furnished throughout. New, modern, exceptionally clean and in good working order. Every room has its own large terrace with a high standard of furniture on each and a fantastic view of the sea, resort, coastline, islands depending on which way you look and can watch the boats/ yachts sailing past in the distance to/from the new Marina. So peaceful and relaxing.

The pool and surrounding terraces/garden are exceptionally well furnished and maintained. It really made our holiday relaxing around the pool with choice of seating all with a stunning view.

The resort is new and growing but at the moment still has charm, small central area with restaurants, bazaar, market etc. Plenty of good quality fish restaurants towards the new marina and some designer shops. Reasonable supermarkets.

In our opinion, a car is needed as the villa is on the edge of the town, built on a mountainside, so with the hill and distance it would be difficult to walk around. Bodrum is only a 30 minute drive and worth visiting.

The only thing I would point out is that the description states "several steps" from the road to villa entrance. There are 32 steep stone steps. Going down is easier than up! Bearing in mind the villa is on 3 levels. So from leaving the car to the villa, up to master bedroom to get changed and down to villa pool was 32 down, 16 up, 32 down. You do the math! As there were only 2 of us we decided not to use the master bedroom and were very happy in one of the bedrooms leading straight out to the pool.

Besides the unplanned exercise, we enjoyed this villa and location so much we have already booked to go back again in Oct 2013 and June 2014.

Ian, Julie & Family - Warrington UK - May/June 2013
We have stayed in Yalikavak many times over the past 5 years, but Lazy is Dayz is far and above the best villa we have chosen to stay in so far. Peninsula Villa Care are also a fantastic letting agent in terms of their communication and after sales/support. Booking a holiday independently from a tour operator can be stressful, with often very little comeback once you have booked and paid, however we have found Peninsula to be extremely personable and helpful at all times – so much so we have booked to go back through them for the summer and will almost definitely book again next year. Annie did really go out of her away to accommodate us at all times.

If you want a central location with the best in stunning Yalikavak views, close to all amenities, then the location of Lazy Dayz cannot be beaten. There are several balconies and terraces all with really comfortable and clean furniture where you can sit and chill and see the whole of Yalikavak across the bay including the new marina development and fantastic yachts coming in and out. Because of its location close to the sea, you also get a very gentle (and welcome) breeze throughout the hot afternoons whilst lying round the pool. It's a very peaceful location and a short walk out of the garden passed the communal pool (very clean) down the hill brings you to a private jetty with free sun loungers which has access onto a quiet and secluded beach. The walk back up definitely isn't for the fainthearted, but will keep you fit though , however this is only to be expected for this area of the coastline!!

Inside the villa, it is extremely clean, bright, fairly modern and well equipped with the most beautiful top floor bedroom with en-suite that has terraces and patios on 2 sides to step out onto – fantastic with a glass of wine in the evening to watch the world go by. The beds are all extremely comfortable – which you often don't get in all areas of Europe – and the bedrooms themselves are fitted to the standard of a really good quality British boutique hotel – again not what you can always expect. I would say lots of thought and effort has gone into making this a very luxurious and comfortable holiday by the owner – which has been respected and looked after by previous guests and the villa management company.

We would not hesitate to recommend both the villa and Peninsula to other holiday seekers and are really looking forward to our return. Thanks also to Annie and Ian for their input – fantastic people.

Alan, Nicola and Family - Buckinghamshire, UK - AUGUST 2012

We had an excellent holiday.Never before have I relaxed so quickly...which is, in large part, thanks to your organisation/advice/information.

The villa was extremely well appointed...and the location/views are breathtaking.I have recommended to several of my friends, and I would definitely go back.  We found Yali to be pleasantly unspoiled...and by that I mean not too touristy.  Yes there were tourists but the place still felt Turkish.  There is very little I would offer in the way of recommendations/improvements.   I have stayed in many villas in many parts of the world.  This is right up there amongst the best.

Great holiday...thanks for your really did help!!  Alan
