ACCOMMODATION
The villa has been furnished and equipped to the highest standards by its English owners.  As soon as you enter, you will feel comfortable with the luxury surroundings which greet you.  Just inside the entrance hall is a cloakroom with WC and wash basin.  From here, the hall takes you to the light, bright and airy, lounge-living room/dining and kitchen areas – all open plan style.  Two sets of French windows open up onto the covered balcony overlooking the pool in one direction and olive tree clad fields towards the sea and Yalikavak, in the other.  The lounge/living room has stylish comfy sofas and chairs to recline into, a coffee table, fire place (not that this will be used during the hot summer months),TV with freeview satellite (some English channels), DVD player and Hi Fi unit.  The internal dining area again, which will not be used frequently during the summer months, has a table and chairs for 4.

The large kitchen area is fitted with granite work surfaces and a range of high quality wall cupboards and base units, an oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.   A kettle, toaster etc plus everything you require for a self-catering holiday is provided in the cupboards.

BEDROOMS – 2 AIR CONDITIONED
Bedroom  1 (Master) - the master bedroom is a large room and has a King size double bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, wardrobes and en-suite bathroom with a bath. This room has two balconies, a small one opening onto the side gardens and a large one onto the main balcony, providing magnificent views across the fields towards Yalikavak and the blue Aegean.  

Bedroom 2 – another good sized room which has matching single beds, bedside cabinets, dresser, wardrobes, lamps etc and en-suite shower room.  Again, French doors open onto the large balcony with views over the gardens and pool to your right and the fields towards Yalikavak and the sea to your left.

A cot is available for young children.
All bedrooms have air conditioning and sea views.

Cleaning & laundry - fresh bed linen and towels are provided.  A washing machine is available for guests' use if required.  However, washing and ironing facilities are provided by on-site staff at additional cost.  The villa will be cleaned on arrival and departure and for two week (or more) stays, a once a week clean is included in the price.  Should you wish a mid-week clean, this can be arranged for an additional charge - please contact us for costs.  Beach towels are not provided.

OUTSIDE
There are two sea-facing terraces, one at living room level and one at bedroom level.  Double French doors open up from the internal dining and kitchen areas to a terrace which spans the width of the villa, just perfect for breakfast and al fresco dining at nights.  Watching the stars and twinkling lights of Yalikavak from here is a delight itself.  

Gardens – are truly amazing.  We have to say these gardens are some of the best kept we have seen.  In summer, they are a riot of colour with the lawns and shrubs clipped and proudly shaped.

Pool - the pool is located down a few steps in front of the villa.  Here, you will find sun loungers, sunshades, table and chairs etc for your pleasure and relaxation.  A sundeck surrounds the pool and beyond that, the lawns which provide plenty of space for sunbathing, or shady reading!  There is also a poolside changing room and WC.  Please note:  The pool is also available for other guests who may be staying at one of the other properties on this private development.  It is never busy and you may find that you could be the only guests using it.

Car hire – for this villa, a car is not essential as you can easily walk into Yalikavak centre within 10 minutes.  There are many shops, restaurants, bars etc here, as well as the Marina, banks and ATM machines,taxi rank and buses into Bodrum.  However, if you wish to explore the many towns and villages the Bodrum Peninsula has to offer, you may decide a car would be useful for a day or so during your stay.  If you need assistance with car hire or airport transfer, then we have arrangements with local companies for these services.  Please enquire: annie@peninsulavillacare.com

Shop/Bakal - there is a small mini-market, shop (Bakal in Turkish) a 5 minute walk away from the villa and bakers, for fresh bread, another 5 minutes further.

Market - Each Thursday, Yalikavak hosts a large vendor's market with a range of fruit, vegetables, olives, cheeses, herbs and spices for sale on one side of the road and clothing, souvenirs etc on the other.  Worth a visit as its a very colourful sight. The market is a 5 to 8 minute walk away.

Banks/supermarkets/petrol stations etc
Yalikavak centre is a 10 minute walk away.  Here you will find several banks, Garanti & Finansbank are two good ones, these have ATMs.  Large supermarkets, Carrefour, Migros and Tansas can also be found on the outskirts of Yalikavak, whereas just outside Bodrum (Ortakent area) there is a very large Kipa (Tesco) and next door, Metro (Makro) cash and carry - visitors can apply for a day pass for the latter.
Local shops (mini markets or Bakals as they are known in Turkey) can be found almost everywhere and are open late at nights.
Petrol stations - again in Yalikavak near the large supermarkets above or on the main road out of Yalikavak to Bodrum.
