Beautifully furnished and presented luxury family holiday villa within walking distance of Torba village, Bodrum Peninsula. Private pool and gardens, sea views from dining terrace and bedrooms,4 bedrooms (can sleep 9), 3 bathrooms, plus cloakroom.
A 10 minute walk will take you to the Aegean fishing village of Torba which has a sandy beach, smart hotels and beach clubs, restaurants, bars and shops etc. The local bus service (Dolmus) which can take you to Bodrum and other villages on the Peninsula is a short walk away. If you are seeking a relaxing holiday in comfortable, stylish surroundings in a peaceful location, then this villa offers all and more ........... One of just 4 villas, all with private pools and gardens on a small development. Private parking is provided with a gated entrance. ACCOMMODATION First impressions are always important. You will not be disappointed by the exceptionally high standard of fittings and furnishings which greet you when entering this villa. The villa is laid out on 3 floors, the lower has 2 bedrooms, a family bathroom and utility area - 2 of the bedrooms lead out onto the pool and gardens. The entrance level has the lounge, kitchen, cloakroom and huge covered dining balcony and informal external seating area (with views out to sea), the upper level has a further 2 bedrooms, both en-suite. Each room is air-conditioned. The entrance door leads into a hallway which has a cloakroom and storage cupboard (with safety deposit box). To the right of the hallway is the open plan lounge/kitchen, both have sliding patio doors leading on to the large covered sea-facing balcony which overlooks the pool and gardens. The lounge seating area is stylish, comfortable and tasteful. Its light, bright and airy space contains two large sofas, coffee table, TV connected to a Turkish freeview satellite system (some English channels available), DVD player and CD system with a 'stock' of CDs, but bring your own favourites! Large sliding patio doors lead from the lounge onto the larger than average covered terrace, perfect for a quiet hour or so reading in the shade during the hot hours in the middle of the day. The fitted kitchen leads from the lounge area. This again has been designed with luxury in mind and has a range of high quality base and cupboard units, granite work surfaces, oven, hob, microwave, large fridge freezer, kettle, dishwasher and everything you require for a self-catering holiday provided in the cupboards. As with the lounge, double sliding patio doors take you to the covered terrace, where you will find a large wooden table and chairs for that all important summer al fresco dining. A spiral staircase (with safety gate) winds down from here to the BBQ area at the side of the pool terrace. Back inside, the handy cloakroom with WC and wash basin is situated off the hallway and near to the stairs leading to the bedrooms at the lower and upper levels of the villa. BEDROOMS – 4 . All have Air Conditioning Bedroom 1 (upper floor, en-suite) – double bed, bedside cabinet, ample wardrobe and drawer space. Sliding patio doors open onto a small Juliet style balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Fabulous views over to the sea. En-suite shower room. This room also has an additional double window which is at the side of the house. Bedroom 2 (upper floor, en-suite) - twin beds, wardrobe, table and lamp. Sliding patio doors open onto the pool terrace area. Bedroom 4 (lower level) – large room (can take an extra bed), twin beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and lamps. Sliding patio doors lead to the pool terrace area. An additional single collapsible bed is available to accommodate an extra person. This can be added easily to fit into bedroom 4. Laundry Facilities - the washing machine and laundry facilities are neatly housed in the understairs cupboard on the lower floor. BATHROOMS – 3.5 En-suite to bedroom 1 - Large walk in shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. En-suite to bedroom 2 - Bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC and wash basin. Family bathroom (lower floor) serves Bedrooms 3 and 4 - Large walk in shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Cloakroom - at entrance level. With WC and wash basin. Other - hairdryer, outside table and chairs (wooden on dining balcony), plus two additional sets at pool terrace level, shade umbrella, sun lounger and soft pads. Cot, high chair. Cleaning & laundry - fresh bed linen and towels are provided on arrival. A washing machine is provided for guest's use and can be found in the utility room at lower floor level. The villa will be cleaned on arrival and departure and for bookings longer than one week, a mid term mini clean and change of laundry is included in the price. Should you wish additional maid service during your stay, then this can also be arranged for an additional charge - please contact us for costs. Beach/pool towels are not provided. OUTSIDE The owners have designed the pool terrace to maximise its space. Ample space for sunloungers and catching those all important rays. Ample place too for dining. If its shade you want, then an umbrella is provided and the covered balcony spanning the width of the villa can provide this. The whole area surrounding the pool has been tiled in stylish travertine and has colouful pots dotted around. Borders around the garden are planted with shrubs and bouganvillae. A large free-standing, stone built BBQ has been built to the side of the pool. A spiral staircase takes you from the pool terrace up to the covered balcony at kitchen and living room level. To the back and sides of the villa are gardens, but not lawned. Parking and access - The villa can be accessed via two roads. One, tarmaced at lower level, the other is a rickety service road which leads down to the side of the villa off the main Torba road. There is a private, gated parking area for these villas at the lower road level or, depending on the condition of the side road (it can be rickety in winter), you could park right outside the entrance gate to the villa. POOL Private Pool - the villa has its own pool (approx 3.5m x 7m). Tiled steps lead down from the side of the pool. The villa can take a maximum of 9 guests, plus a small infant/child as a cot is provided. Children are very welcome as with its safe and private large gardens this is a very family orientated villa. *All prices include KDV/VAT unless otherwise stated. |
