Delightful family holiday villa for rent in Bitez, Bodrum, Turkey. The villa is
beautifully furnished and well presented and occupies a corner plot on this quiet residential development within popular Bitez. The villa has larger than average private pool set in large colouful, mature gardens. There is private
parking for two cars to the side of the villa and also a tennis court nearby on this small development.
Bitez has two sides, the old village and mandarine groves and the beach side. The villa is set back from the old village and is approximately 5 mins drive to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars of Bitez. Bodrum town centre is 10mins drive. ACCOMMODATION Entrance Hall with Cloakroom - WC and wash basin and storage cupboards. Lounge/kitchen/diner area - open plan. Solid wood flooring throughout the whole house with comfy sofas,TV, and DVD player in the lounge area. The inside dining area forms an L shape off the lounge and has a modern glass and iron dining table and 6 chairs. From here, there is an opening/serving hatch to the kitchen. The kitchen itself also has solid wooden floors and is a a few steps away from the dining area. It is fitted with a full range of base and cupboard units, granite work surfaces, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc and a stylish breakfast bar with granite table top and funky bar stool seats for 4. A set of doors lead from the kitchen to the large covered garden terrace and dining area. Upstairs there are lots of built in cupboards for storage. Bedrooms 3 Bedroom 1 - (master bedroom) overlooks the pool and gardens and double doors opening onto a large balcony with seating area. Double bed , free standing wardrobes, cupboards and shelving and an en-suite bathroom. Landing 'quiet' room/office At the top of the stairs and from the master bedroom, is a large open area with sliding patio doors opening onto the balcony area overlooking the pool and gardens. There are two rattan recliners here where you can sit quietly either inside with the doors to the balcony open, or on the balcony itself. A small desk/office is situated at the rear of this room. Bedroom 2 - which is off the landing room is to the side of the house and has twin beds, wardrobes and cupboards. Bedroom 3 - at the rear of the house overlooking the gardens has a double bed, wardrobes, bedside tables etc. Bathrooms 2 The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. A family shower room with large shower cubicle, WC and wash basin is between bedrooms 2 and 3. Cleaning & Laundry Fresh bed linen and towels are provided on arrival. The villa will also be cleaned on arrival and departure. A washing machine is available for guest's use. Should you wish a mid-week clean or weekly clean during your stay, this can be arranged at an extra charge for guests - please contact us for further info on cleaning & laundry charges. Beach towels are not provided. Air Conditioning For maximum comfort during the summer months, air conditioning is fitted in all bedrooms and the lounge area. Please enquire to annie@peninsulavillacare.com Outside The villa has a gated entrance and drive with parking space for two cars. The villa is on a corner plot in a cul-de-sac location and has large private gardens surrounding the villa to the front, sides and rear. At the rear, the large private pool sits to the right of the house and is accessed by walking from the shady terrace through sunny, colouful, mature gardens. There is also a shower room and toilet close by the shower, so no need to enter the house, once in 'pool' mode! The pool area is very private with the pool itself being larger than average: 10m x 5m (1.25m deep). Proper steps lead down into the pool from one end and a pool ladder is positioned at the side by the sun terrace. There are gardens surrounding the villa, but the rear garden and terrace area is huge and child safe as it is completely fenced off and contained. Around the pool area it is paved for sunbathing, with a Turkish style seating area. The remainder of the rear garden is lawned and planted with mature, colourful shrubs. The lawned area has hammocks strung between olive trees to enjoy those lazy, hazy days of summer! Amenities/Facilities provided Oven & hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, iron, ironing board, microwave, TV, DVD player, A/C, hairdryer. Shop/Bakal - there are small mini-markets, shops (Bakal in Turkish) a short distance away near the main road - usually open late hours. Also nearby are <!-- ..hmmessage P { margin:0px; padding:0px } body.hmmessage { font-size: 10pt; font-family:Verdana } -->amenities such as bakery/chemist/atm/restaurants/takeaways with delivery service and that a car is not necessary to access these. Public Transport - Dolmus At the main road junction, it is easy to hail a Dolmus (mini bus) either to Bodrum, which take approx 15 minutes to reach Bodrum centre, or Yalikavak and Turgutreis in the other. Or 5 minutes to Bitez beach. There is easy access to shopping areas, other resorts on the Peninsula and the airport. Beach/Restaurants/Bars/Shops Its a 5 minute drive to the beach and an easy walk along the promenade to restaurants and café’s. The tennis club and marina/harbour are within minutes walking distance. Banks/supermarkets/petrol stations etc All locally based in Bitez, banks have ATMs. Large supermarkets can be found just outside Bodrum (Ortakent area). Here there is a very large Kipa (Tesco) and next door, Metro (Makro) cash and carry - visitors can apply for a day pass for the latter. Petrol stations - again around the main road areas around Bitez and towards Konacik and Bodrum. GUEST FEEDBACK May 2010 - Mrs & Mrs Laboudi from UK I wanted to thank you for a very nice holiday.
